Territorians who caught COVID-19 from interstate travellers have reported mixed messaging and confusing directions from NT Health.
Annabelle and others who are isolating at Howard Springs quarantine facility have told the ABC that, after their own experiences with NT Health, they are worried about the government's ability to manage an outbreak.
"We followed all government regulations," she said, adding her brother had returned a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival. Later that night, after moving about the community in Darwin, her brother got a phone call from NT Health saying he had actually tested positive.What followed was a series of what Annabelle described as "mixed messages" from NT Health.
