Darya Dugina hailed as a martyr who 'died for Russia' as mourners vow to fight for victory over Ukraine

Russian nationalist ideologue Alexander Dugin has paid tribute to his daughter.

Mr Dugin, who has for years advocated the creation of a new Russian empire, told mourners on Tuesday his daughter had died for her country.

A large black and white photograph of Ms Dugina, who worked as a journalist and nationalist media commentator, hung on a black wall behind her casket as sombre music played.
