The purpose of the Technical Data Developer is to aid and support the SAP Data migration process as required in project mode and will be required to develop data extracts and scorecards according to documented business standards and rules.
The person will also support the data cleansing activities to maintain a high quality of data.Assist with source to target mapping of fields and data, check that source extracts conform to specificationsReview reports and highlight issues for correctionMonitor, process, and maintain all data cleansing requestsAssist with Extraction of Data Reports and DashboardsReport and escalate data errors to the Data Manager and Business Data AnalystProficient in SAP IS/DS and SQL to be able to develop data extracts, according to data extract criteria, within an SDLC frameworkPropose modifications and enhancements to existing applications to improve their functionality and to address any issues that ariseProvide input into the data governance framework, standards and business rules Ensure that data quality dimensions are accurate, complete, consistant and integrity are met for master dataRelevant tertiary qualification in IT, IS, or similarand/or similar data analytics experienceMust have a high stress tolerance and the ability to work efficiently under pressureAn innovative thinker and ability to solve complex problemsPrecise planning and excellent organisational/administration skillsQuality orientated and self-driven to achieve results
