We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Database Migration Engineer with extensive experience in large-scale cloud migrations to AWS. You will be a key player in transforming legacy systems by migrating mission-critical databases to RDS and EC2 environments.
If you are passionate about cloud, automation, and database engineering, this is your chance to shine on an enterprise stage!· Lead and execute large-scale SQL Server database migrations from on-prem to AWS RDS and EC2 environments.· Write and optimize T-SQL scripts for data transformation, performance tuning, and validation. · Perform pre-migration assessments, data mapping, backup/restore strategies, and post-migration verification. · Ensure data integrity, uptime, and security during and after migration in regulated/production environments. · Proactively identify and resolve performance, reliability, and compatibility issues during migrations. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, cloud engineers, and security to align on delivery timelines and migration best practices.· Operate independently, with autonomy and accountability for successful delivery.· Proven experience with large-scale SQL Server migrations to AWS .· Proficient in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and data migration scripts.· Experience working in regulated and mission-critical environments.· Ability to work independently and lead migration projects end-to-end.
