This incident took place at the 200 block of Center Street in Wiconisco Township.
Philip Randolfo, of Wiconisco, suffered cuts to his head, hands and feet when police report he was struck several times with a knife by Freeman Jason Walker. The 49-year-old then strangled Randolfo and forcibly took his belongings, police said.Police charged Walker, of Wiconisco, with robbery, aggravated assault, strangulation, intimidation of victim, possession of a firearm, and several other charges. He was arraigned before a judge and denied bail.
