The NSW transport minister fields questions over Dominic Perrottet's birthday party scandal for the first time after he was revealed as the cabinet colleague who called the premier.

Speaking at the official launch for the new veterans' brain bank at Concord Hospital, Mr Elliott told journalists the photo scandal was the "last thing" on his mind."The premier's answered all questions that need to be answered on that one." No photos from the birthday party have emerged, and the premier says he is "not aware" of any images of him in the uniform.
Opposition Leader Chris Minns said he did not believe the premier should resign as his apology was "sincere".
