WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Australian cricket team head to London for the World Test Championship final.The 36-year-old is certain to be selected for the World Test Championship final against India at The Oval next week, but with a lean run of form coming into it the marquee event and the subsequent Ashes series in England immediately after, his place in the side is no longer cemented.
And he will have to turn that form around over the upcoming six Tests in England if he is to convince the selectors his career has one Australian summer left in it yet. Though he ruled out taking part in the West Indies series that follows the Pakistan series next summer, we still won’t have seen the last of Warner in Australian colours.
