Scores of dead fish were seen on the bank of the lake
All dead fish have now been removed from a Nottingham beauty spot but the city council has warned that more are continuing to appear on the surface. Visitors expressed their shock earlier this week after scores of dead fish were seen on the bank of the lake at Highfields Park.
In regards to the animals at the lake in Highfields, teams were seen clearing away the fish on Friday . Nottingham City Council has now confirmed all dead fish were removed, but more continue to appear on the surface from underwater.The lake remained closed for boating on Friday, with this decision due to be reviewed on Saturday morning and then again on Sunday.
