Dead Space may not be the only remake EA is working on 👀
Given the Dead Space remake isn’t mentioned anywhere in the report, it could be assumed that that’s what EA is referring to in terms of the remake. Especially since it’s been delayed to early 2023.EA has published hundreds of games over the year but very few that seem obvious fodder for a remake, since the majority receive regular sequels that would make that unnecessary.
Dragon Age is one theory, given the success of Mass Effect Legendary Edition and the upcoming new game, while fan favourite Battlefield: Bad Company is also a possibility. Or EA could be planning to bring back something more obscure, such as the original Mirror’s Edge or maybe an older title like Dungeon Keeper.
Whatever the remake is, if it’s releasing within the first several months of 2023 it will likely be unveiled before the end of 2022. Perhaps even during the Summer Game Fest or at an EA Play Live event.
