The shooting of a young Black man whose family says he was experiencing a mental health crisis has revived some activists’ mistrust of the Minneapolis Police Department.

She said the situation was not comparable to the killing of Floyd, who was unarmed, and asked whether the protesters would have stood up for her if she had been killed.
