Kyle McClelland joins the Bannsiders in a season-long loan from Easter Road
Coleraine have won the race to sign Kyle McClelland, much to the delight of Head Coach, Dean Shiels. A number of Irish League clubs were battling it out with the Bannsiders for the former Rangers Academy graduate.
“We are very pleased to welcome Kyle to the club,” said Shiels. “For his age, he seems to be well above his years. In and out of possession he’s very comfortable. I think he’s going to thrive with his quality.”
The centreback feels the move to the Irish League has come at the right time for him. He also believes in the project underway at The Showgrounds after having spoken to his new boss.
