The Duke of York, the third of the queen's four children, has been relieved of official royal duties and stripped of his honorary military titles over his friendship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He has followed his mother's coffin during processions this week and twice held vigil with his siblings.Prince Andrew wore his military uniform for a vigil beside his mother's coffin at the request of his father.
"Dear Mummy, Mother, Your Majesty, three in one," Andrew said in his statement, released on Sunday afternoon. "Mother - of the nation, your devotion and personal service to our nation is unique and singular; your people show their love and respect in so many different ways and I know you are looking on honouring their respect."I have found your knowledge and wisdom infinite, with no boundary or containment.
