Controversial hotels in Glasgow had been slammed for conditions and campaigners claim homeless people were 'dumped' with no essential care.
A shocking 23 homeless people died at three hotels after being sent there to safeguard their wellbeing.
The latest scandalous figures follow revelations yesterday that 250 homeless people died in Scotland in 2021 - up 52% in just four years. Clerkin also said the figures reveal that there needs to be a massive increase in public spending on addiction services and mental health care, allied to the building of more social rented homes.”
On Tuesday this week, statistics published by National Records of Scotland showed an estimated 250 homeless deaths in Scotland in 2021.
