Port Adelaide premiership midfielder Kane Cornes has called for Jordan De Goey to be suspended following his actions in Bali during Collingwood’s mid-season break.
“Once again, Collingwood was on the front page of the paper two days in a row, and they look foolish because of one of their players.”Former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley said on Saturday night: “I don’t think it was a good decision to go to Bali. “There has been a whole heap that has come from it and there is a whole heap that will come from it, unfortunately.”“I want to openly address the relentless pursuit and persecution of athletes by the media to create an uneducated, bias [sic] and ill-informed narrative that has gone too far,” De Goey posted online.“This will end in tragedy if no one speaks up. It’s time for change. #enoughisenough.
“He’s had sexual assault allegations and harassment allegations, none of it proven, and he hasn’t been convicted.
