The Defence Strategic Review is going to be a “real adjustment” to Australia defence, says Former Australian Navy rear admiral Mark Purcell.
“As the Minister Richard Marles has highlighted, he’s really after impactful projection,” he told Sky News Australia.
“So what’re seeing is a range of projects, a range of long-range missiles of both the land environment, the Army and the Navy have been announced. “Obviously the AUKUS submarines has been previously announced, and then much speculation around other elements of impactful projection.”
