The government’s plan to boost the technology of the Defence Force is to deter “any adversary” which tries to project its power through Australia’s north, says Defence Minister Richard Marles.
“As we sought to re-task the Australian Defence Force, we talk in terms of being able to deter through denial any
adversary which seeks to project power against Australia through our northern approaches,” he told Sky News Australia.
