House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s belief that President Donald Trump was"just not worth” impeaching did not stop another Democratic Congress member from pursuing a vote to remove Trump from office.
Green said that people he talked to at airports and in food lines asked him: “Is it worth it?” and he responded: “Is the country worth it? Is the Constitution of the United States worth it? Is it something that has meaning?” Green, who had previously forced two impeachment votes that failed by large margins, promised, “There will be a vote on the floor of the Congress.” He did not offer a date.
