The Denver Fire Department says the city is on pace this year to break a record for the number of RV fires and explosions. This after a fatal RV fire in the city’s Whittier neighborhood this morning
The fire broke out in an RV parked at a home located at 2716 Vine Street, according to the Denver Fire Department.Neighbors told Denver7 their homes shook after an explosion and fire inside the RV they said had been parked at the home for years.The victim’s identity and cause and manner of death will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Last year, there were 32 RV fires. This year, the Denver Fire Department responded to nearly 30 RV fires.
