Friday could be the warmest day Denver has seen for several weeks. cowx
The mountains are a bit of a different story Friday morning, as clear skies overnight dropped temperatures in some areas below, but high country areas will still warm during the day and see highs of 20 to 35 degrees. Further east, snowpack on the plains will also keep temperatures cooler and likely in the 30s.
Cloud cover overnight Friday will bring a more moderate night and keep low temperatures from dropping, but the foothills will see an increase in winds overnight as well. Gusts of about 40 mph will be possible by Saturday morning. Saturday and Sunday will be similarly warm and sunny with highs of 53 and 52 degrees, respectively. Then, on Monday, a slight chance of snow enters Denver’s forecast. The snow looks to stay mostly in the mountains during that system, but Denver has a 20% chance of seeing some snowfall.
