Deontay Wilder gives green light to fighting Anthony Joshua and makes special promise
Deontay Wilder has now spoken out and embraced rumours that he could fight Anthony Joshua next., representatives for Saudi Arabia’s Skill Challenge Entertainment have confirmed that they are in talks to try and stage a mega event that would feature Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk and Joshua vs Wilder on the same night in December.As thing stand, there is a still a long way to go before this incredibly ambitious plan becomes anything close to a reality.
However, as the Saudis engage in discussions with the representatives for the four heavyweights, the fighters themselves are beginning to get excited.“If that’s what’s going on, let’s make it happen. “Let’s put it like this, I’ll keep it sweet – I’mma give Saudi their first knockout victim. *Fights would potentially be preceded by Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois and Tyson Fury vs Andy Ruiz this summer“I’ve got something special that I’m gonna put on the punch with this one.” Joshua and Wilder have circles one another for several years in the heavyweight division without ever finalising a fight.The pair engaged in talks in 2018 and 2019, but a public back-and-forth feud broke out between their representatives.and Wilder’s manager Shelly Finkel have since repaired their relationship, though it will now be Saudi Arabia who attempt to mediate and work out deals to suit both parties for a December showdown.
