Six Ulster players have been included in this year's Ring, Rackard and Meagher Champion 15 team
Christy Ring Cup winners Meath have claimed five spots on the Ring, Rackard and Meagher Champion 15 team with beaten finalists Derry taking two positions in this year’s selection.
Derry defender Richie Mullan and midfielder Cormac O’Doherty have been included with four other hurlers from Ulster also making the cut.Nicky Rackard runners-up Donegal are represented by Luke White who takes up the number 1 jersey, and wing back Danny Cullen, after their fine performances in the competition.
Nicky Rackard Cup winners Wicklow, take up three places on the team with Andrew Kavanagh, Christy Moorehouse and Andy O’Brien while the remaining slot goes to Conor Madden of Lancashire. “The Champion 15 selection covers the keenly contested Ring, Rickard and Meagher Cups which makes selection all the more notable and distinguished. Congratulations to all of those who are honoured today.”
