The Epic II tower at 2500 Pacific Ave. was built to house a huge regional office forBut Uber never moved into the bulk of its space in the half a million-square-foot Deep Ellum high-rise.
Now a design firm is moving its Dallas studio into the building. California-based Uber has been trying to sublease more than 300,000 square feet of vacant offices in the tower. DLR Group is taking almost 12,000 square feet of sublease space on the 16th floor of the Epic II tower, according to filings with the state. The interior planning and architecture firm is scheduled to move into the building later this year.
