A Victorian sanctuary owner has desperately pleaded for the return of a stolen baby camel, with fears the mother could die from 'heartbreak'. 9News
The almost six-week-old camel was allegedly taken from Ardmona's For the Love of Camels sanctuary earlier this week.A baby camel has been stolen from a sanctuary in Ardmona.
He told 3AW radio camels are known to die from "heartbreak" when their babies are taken from them at an early age.He said Manuka was "very upset" since her baby went missing.Fankhauser said the baby was the youngest of 26 camels at the farm and that he believed the alleged theft had been targeted.
