'Why is it considered crazy to be happy as a single mum?'
People are so caught up in society and what things SHOULD be like 🙄 I made the choice to be a single mum before I even had a baby because I wanted a baby and no boyfriend. Me and my daughter are here living life . Enjoying ! We are currently sitting on a beach in Jamaica ☺️DO what makes YOU happy . A lot of couples you see in real life are just pretending anyway .
I had a child with a donor and currently trying for number 2, and I have a very happily successful life with a very happy 9 year old who knows how they were created. My greatest surprise, post-divorce, was how suspicious married women were as they always assumed I must be"after" their husbands! How can one say"I wouldn't touch your husband with a barge pole, fear not!!"I am also a completely happy single parent and don’t understand why it’s looked down on. My ex was an abusive, narcissistic a**hole and carries in the behaviour even after we split when DD was 12 weeks old.
