In spite of some setbacks, President Biden has delivered on a number of major promises since 2021, some of which have received bipartisan support. With the new Congress, those compromises may be more difficult.

And yet, Democrats still managed to pass major pieces of legislation, several with bipartisan support. It's also true that much of the legislation will take time to take hold — investments in infrastructure, for example, are not immediately apparent.
