Detectives have seized a grey Mazda that once belonged to William Tyrrell’s foster-grandmother for forensic examination as the quest to discover what happened to him gathers momentum.
“This activity relates to inquiries and search operations currently being conducted in the Kendall area.” Hydrologist Professor John Olley, who is working with police on the investigation, has concluded that if William’s body was in that small patch, it could only have then moved to a nearby tributary on private land, which police will now search for bones or fragments of clothing.
