The Prime Minister has been left shocked as he opened up about the devastation he witnessed of the ongoing war before he later met with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky to pledge another $100m in aid and slapped further sanctions against Russia.
Mr Albanese was last week uncertain whether he would accept the offer from Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to visit the nation amid the ongoing war.

Mr Albanese pledged to continue Australia's efforts - on top of its already $350 million in humanitarian and military aid - as the largest non-NATO supporter. "Because you are fighting for the international rule of law, you are fighting for international rules in which we conduct our activity to be respected and to occur in an orderly way."
