Netball: Three players could be about to make their Diamonds debut after Australia named their 15 player squad to face England.

Diamonds squad v England revealed | 00:28Diamonds star Courtney Bruce admits she’s yet to prove her fitness to face New Zealand in next month’s Constellation Cup series.

The Vixens star revealed she suffered an achilles injury back in the final round of the season against the Firebirds but bravely opted to play through the pain in her side’s run to the Super Netball grand final. “I wasn’t able to train as much as I’d like to – I probably lost a bit of condition all the way into the grand final.“Opportunities like that don’t come around that often.

Weston said it ended up being an easy decision to forgo the England tests, and was looking forward to the New Zealand series instead.
