China accused of REMOVING British mountaineer's body in cover-up of who made it to top of Everest first
Andrew 'Sandy' Irvine and George Mallory went missing during their 1924 expedition to climb Mount Everest. In 1999, Mallory's body was found 2,000 feet from the summit, but Irvine's body was not discovered.
The Vest Pocket Kodak camera that the two men were carrying was also nowhere to be found. Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay are officially credited with being first to reach summit in 1953.
