Queensland's Police Commissioner Katarina Caroll fought to keep her composure on Tuesday as she broke down in tears while paying tribute to the two young constables murdered.
Constable Matthew Arnold, 26, and Constable Rachel McCrow, 29, along with two colleagues were sent to a property in Wieambilla, about four hours north-west of Brisbane, on Monday about 4:30pm in relation to a New South Wales missing person's case.

Both had wonderful careers and lives ahead of them.
