The parents of a 17-month-old girl who died on Friday after she was hit by the family’s four-wheel-drive have bravely paid tribute to their daughter.
The toddler, identified as Anna Seagren, was struck at the rural property on Victor Harbor Rd, Mount Jagged, about 55 kilometres south of Adelaide, at 3.45pm on Friday.Source:Supplied“Sadly, despite the efforts of paramedics at the scene, the 17-month-old girl could not be saved.”
Anna’s mum, Jessi, had been driving to pick up her eldest daughter from the bus stop when the tragedy occurred.“I saw her as soon after I’d made the mistake so I knew she was gone.” She urged other parents to “slow down, just don’t rush, take that extra minute” and “give them that last cuddle”.RELATED:Anna was the youngest of three children, with a brother Jack, 3, and sister Grace, 5.“She’s not going to come home … but we can still talk to her and we love her.Anna Seagren, held by her father Danny, with mother Jessi, brother Jack and sister Grace.The heartbroken mum described her daughter as “really cheeky, really cuddly and affectionate”.
