Police update after reports of a string of alleged dine-and-dash incidents Two people have been arrested after alleged dine-and-dash incidents in Wales. It comes after reports of several alleged incidents of diners leaving without paying their restaurant bills and shoplifting. Now a 41-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Sandfields, Port Talbot, have been arrested for fraud and theft offences. They are currently in custody at Swansea Central police station.

Wutong Introduces Dine-In Experience Alongside Takeaway ServiceWutong in Milngavie has introduced a dine-in experience, while continuing with their usual takeaway service. The premises, which has been has been open since March 2021, has operated as a takeout and delivery service since the beginning due to the pandemic period and staffing challenges. The launch of the restaurant, however, follows “overwhelming positive feedback” to a recent customer survey undertaken while the owners considered expanding to allow diners to eat inside.
