A popular chocolate treat will make a surprise return to supermarket and shop shelves for the first time in more than a decade, delighting Australian fans. The long-awaited Polly Waffle is making a comeback this week, Australian confectionary manufacturer Menz confirmed. However, there’s a twist. The sweet treat is returning as the brand-new Polly Waffle Bites, showcasing the nostalgic taste of the popular chocolate bar in new bite-sized morsels.
“It’s been more than 10 years since customers last saw Polly Waffle on shelves, and we’re thrilled to bring an iconic Aussie treat back into their hands in the form of the Polly Waffle Bites,” Sims said. “The team at Menz have been hard at work recreating the magic of Polly Waffle with a modern, bite-sized twist, and we appreciate the patience of the Australian public during this process.
