Twelve people, including five young children, became trapped in an elevator at Melbourne’s aquarium on Sunday.
Firefighters used a crowbar to free a number of families with young children after they became trapped in a lift at a major Melbourne tourist attraction on the weekend.
Melbourne man Josh Zuker was trapped in an elevator with his four-year-old son for more than 40 minutes on Sunday. Zuker said the group was told it would be an almost-hour wait, and his annoyance rose as an operator kept asking how the trapped families were doing but not updating them on the progress of emergency services.
