Special Primary Election Results Updated June 17, 2022

Here are the latest numbers as of June 17, 2022. 4:45 p.m. to see who will fill the late Don Young’s seat in the House of Representatives.

As of Friday, June 17, the Division of Elections shows a 25.55% voter turnout with 150,036 ballots currently counted for the Special Primary Election. Republican Sarah Palin still upholds her first place lead with a slight percentage decrease, from 28.19% on Wednesday to 27.59% on Friday, with a total of 41,302 votes.

Republican Nick Begich holds his second place position with 28,859 votes, 19.27% of total votes. Non-partisan Al Gross maintains third place with 12.65% and has 18,936 votes. Continuing to hold four place, is Democrat Mary Peltola from Anchorage with 14,133 votes and a 9.44% lead.The Division of Elections will issue the final vote counts on Tuesday before the State Review Board begins next Thursday. The target date for the Division of Elections to certify the results is June 25.
