The beloved DJ has noticed a surge in the number of scam pages
Over the last six months beloved Radio Clyde DJ George Bowie has seen a surge in the number of fake Facebook giveaways using his name and is now asking his fans to be vigilant .
"I seem to be getting one a day at the moment. They shut one site down then there is another one the next day. It's almost a daily basis, it's horrendous. He explained: "I've actually had to pin a message at the top of my page saying there are loads of scams and I don't do any competitions on social media.
