Beth Mawer will kick off the festival on Saturday

A Glasgow based DJ 'screamed the house down' after being told that they would play Riverside music festival.

The festival is due to celebrate its tenth year anniversary, next weekend at Riverside Museum in the west end with a mammoth lineup of disk jockeys including new and upcoming talent to big name performers, playing everything from house music to techno.Glasgow Live sat down with Beth to discuss her reaction to finding out the news, DJs that have inspired her throughout the years and the times she used to go along to the festival as a punter with her pals.

After sending in a mix to the organisers of Riverside, Beth found out she was due to play the festival in an email while she was at work and in her own words said "I screamed the house down."
