In a video on the Scottish Partnership for Transport YouTube page, a short clip shows what passengers have to look forward to.
The 20-second video asks"Are you in the loop?" as it gives moody shots of the train carriage's fixtures and fittings.Upholstered in the traditional orange, black and grey, the trains will have an open plan design rather than separate carriages and large windows that lets passengers see along tunnels.Swiss company Stadler won the contract to deliver 17 underground trains for the SPT in March 2016.
