Dr Roisin Hamilton previously chucked hot coffee over a Glasgow Airport worker.

A tribunal ruled that Dr Rosin Hamilton's fitness to practice is currently impaired after she was convicted at Glasgow Sheriff Court of attacking the Scottish ambulance staff.

Hamilton had not practised since 2015 when she was given permission by the Medical Practitioners' Tribunal Service to resume her career in 2019, after she explained her behaviour was a result of an addiction to alcohol due to depression and anxiety.She had previously admitted throwing hot coffee at a Glasgow Airport worker who offered her assistance when she stumbled in the duty-free area as she waited for a flight.

Pleading for an opportunity to resume her medical career in 2019, the former haemotology expert said: "I am realistic that any future return to work would not be a simple process.
