The 2023 biographical drama is not the type of movie that would typically offer audiences an additional scene after the credits that would tease a potential sequel.
By the time the movie comes to a close, audiences have witnessed the meteoric rise of GameStop's stock, the legal trouble Keith Gill gets in due to his involvement, and the highs and lows of individual investors and hedge funds depending on if they sold their shares in time. Dumb Money's true story being explored in a two-hour movie does mean that not every single story point and character gets the closure that some might hope for.
Dumb Money Does Not Have A Post-Credits Scene There is no post-credits scene with Dumb Money officially. The movie tells its complete story by the time the credits begin, and it appears the creatives felt no need to tack on an additional tease at the end. This will not change regardless of whether audiences see the movie in theaters or wait until Dumb Money releases on streaming.
There is also a world where Dumb Money's end-credits scene could have simply been a joke in some manner or more random. Showing more of Steve Cohen and his giant pet pig might have worked in such an instance. The movie even could have shown Kevin Gill continuing to steal food from deliveries or delivered another Keith Gill running scene. Ultimately, Dumb Money not having a post-credits scene was the right call.
