John Barilaro has broken government ranks with a shock admission about one of the most controversial Covid rules in NSW.
Mr Barilaro on Monday ruled out introducing a curfew in Dubbo, which has recorded 595 cases in the past four weeks and is at the centre of western NSW’s outbreak.
“If you look at the numbers since we put the curfew in … nothing’s changed. Numbers continue to rise. The Berejiklian government introduced the divisive public health measure in an attempt to further restrict social mobility in the suburbs most affected by the virus.
