Biggest source of the P phosphorus that causes this problem and creates this blue Jean blue, green. Sano bacteria, algae that can be harmful to wildlife and [00:10:00] people and dogs, and, and also creates this really gross scum on the top of the lake that you do not want to see if you’re going to the beach or boating.
Remember that’s when they pay farmers to use good practices. So they are getting people to do it. And they’ve been working for. [00:12:00] To really decrease the amount of phosphorus in the lake. And they’ve got an agreement with a bunch of other states and with Canada, we’re not really seeing a lot of movement on that front, unfortunately.okay. Well, at least it’s good news for this year. The Toledo does not have to fear.
At maple Heights, high school and Invictus high school, [00:14:00] they include things that I just mentioned, financial literacy etiquette, and they also learn how to play chess. She wants to expand that to fourth and fifth graders in maple Heights. Sh she’s also overseeing the creation of a mentorship program, which is free.
To try to get a job, right? If someone, right. If, if you’re like put off by the way that they talk to you, you, you know, it, even if they’ve never been that there’s not trying to sound. I don’t know. I, I, I agree with all of you that this is wonderful [00:17:00] skills and it could probably help every single kid.So because you had to be respectful to people. When you knocked down the doors to get the money you had to be responsible, be there every day.
