PETS AT HOME has withdrawn three types of dog lead from sale in the UK and Ireland after a dog from Belfast tragically died after his lead broke.
The one-year-old dog was being walked when the clip on his KONG harness snapped open, leaving him not secured to the lead.His grief-stricken owners, Joanne McPoland and Ed Hughes contacted Pets at Home about the accident and, within hours, the company had removed all KONG leads from sale.
