Rogue the cockapoo was found ripping up the grey lino with her owner Gemma Johnson it was because the 'judgemental' pooch didn't like it matching her fur

A mum claims her fussy pooch ripped up her new lino flooring 'because she didn't like the colour' - as it clashed with her fur. Gemma Johnson returned home from the school run to find her lino torn to shreds and her guilty-looking cockapoo chewing some of it.

Annoyed Gemma tore up the remaining bits of the wrecked lino the next day and has forked out £240 to replace it with a lighter colour that she expects the puppy to like. Another image posted to Facebook shows Rogue appearing to sit happily on the pile of removed flooring and Gemma captioned it 'well she got her own way'.

"I sent a picture to my friend and told her I could cry. Rogue probably didn't like it because she blended into it too much. She's very judgemental. "I really liked the floor and wanted to keep it. She got her own way in the end. The new one will be lighter so it doesn't blend in with her. It's like she picked it herself. It's a good job my son's a carpet fitter."
