As part of the search, Duane Chapman has been studying Brian Laundrie's social media, and he found some of his posts disturbing.
Brian Laundrie's father Chris Laundrie was asked on Wednesday to help North Port officers in the search Laundrie family attorney Steve Bertolino told CNN.
This comes as law enforcement discovered a recently used campsite during a search for Laundrie in the Carlton Reserve in Venice. "Chris Laundrie was asked to assist law enforcement in their search for Brian at the preserve today," Bertolino said. "Since the preserve has been closed to the public Chris has not been able to look for Brian in the only place Chris and Roberta believe Brian may be."had to postpone Chris's involvement but Chris and Roberta are hopeful there will be another opportunity to assist."
However, North Port Police later said that the department would not ask Laundrie to help search for his son and that the
