New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has belted out Livin' on a Prayer with radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa as he joined Gladys Berejiklian and Bill Shorten as politicians to have performed on air.

During an appearance on Nova 96.9’s breakfast show Fitzy and Wippa on Monday the Premier was reminded of a promise he made on his previous visit to the studio.

The Premier argued with hosts Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli over when he would perform the rock song and much to their delight the two radio hosts were able to convince him.NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet jumped into the singing of Livin' on a Prayer energetically. When the famous guitar riff began to play the Premier naturally jumped into full song doing his best to impress the listeners and the co-hosts. Once the song had wrapped up all three had their hands in the air dancing along, before the two co-hosts applauded the impromptu performance. The NSW Premier was belting out the lyrics alongside hosts Fitzy and Wippa by the end of the song.
