The nation’s largest pizza chain has created the product range as it battles climbing inflation.
Domino’s Pizza Enterprises is taking on fast food giants McDonald’s and Hungry Jacks with four new pizzas that offer a “burger experience” as the chain searches for ways to boost sales.
The Burger Joint range offers a pizza version of a cheeseburger with ingredients such as beef burger pieces, American cheese slices, mozzarella and butter pickles topped with special burger sauce.faces short-term pressure on sales and earnings as the cost of key ingredients rises. It is also heavily focused on expanding its delivery business.
The prices of inputs ranging from wages to mozzarella and other soft commodities are all going up significantly.
