Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says former President Donald Trump’s speech was “surprisingly flat” and it very much felt like he was reading off the “autocue”.
Former President Donald Trump announced from his Florida estate of Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday evening that he is running for the White House again in 2024.
“The audience here – these are his most fervent supporters – we didn’t hear any huge amount of enthusiasm from them,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
