Donald Trump recaptured the White House on Wednesday by securing more than the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the presidency, the Associated Press has projected.
In a remarkable comeback four years after he was voted out of the White House, Donald Trump has been elected 47th president of the United States, according to projections. The Associated Press has projected the Republican former president will win 295 Electoral College votes, surpassing the 270 needed to become president.
"It is time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us. It is time to unite and we are going to try, we have to try and it is going to happen. "Success will bring us together, I've seen that ... Because together we can truly make America great again for all Americans."
