"I paid many millions of dollars in taxes but was entitled, like everyone else, to depreciation & tax credits," he tweeted.The reports about Mr Trump’s tax returns has also seen an old tweet of his resurface in which he criticises his predecessor Barack Obama for his 20.5 per cent tax rate. “@BarackObama who wants to raise all our taxes, only pays 20.5% on $790k salary. Do as I say not as I do,” Mr Trump wrote in 2012, which is one of the years the Times report says he paid no tax.
